The Board voted to make no changes in hourly or metered parking rates for 2009. Monthly permits for the Seneca, Green Street, Cayuga Street and Dryden Road garages were increased 3 percent.

Parking fees do not cover the cost for the garages. The city is slated to subsidize garages by $1.4 million in 2009, according to information provided to the Board by Rick Ferrel, assistant superintendent of Public Works for Streets and Facilities.
