DWI arrests

* Facing charges: Daniel P. Sherry, 19, Newark Valley.

* Charge: Driving while intoxicated.

* Agency: Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.

* Incident: On Nov. 22, Sherry was arrested after deputies found him passed out behind the wheel and blocking traffic on Midline Road in Dryden, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office said.

* Pending action: Sherry was released and ordered to return to Caroline Town Court on Jan. 5.

* Facing charges: Zale J. Hutchinson, 41, Ithaca.

* Charge: Driving while intoxicated.

* Agency: Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.

* Incident: On Nov. 22, Hutchinson was arrested after deputies found him behind the wheel of a vehicle that had crashed into a guard rail on Route 13 in Ithaca, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office said.

* Pending action: Hutchinson was released and ordered to return to Ithaca Town Court on Nov. 25.

* Facing charges: Stillman Bradfield, 78, Ithaca.

* Charge: Driving while intoxicated, following too closely, leaving the scene of an accident.

* Agency: Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.

* Incident: On Nov. 22, Bradfield was arrested after deputies responding to a car accident found him driving erratically, in a vehicle with severe front-end damage, on North Triphammer Road in Lansing, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office said.

* Pending action: Bradfield was arraigned in Lansing Town Court and released.

* Facing charges: Jason A. Mix, 32, Trumansburg.

* Charge: Driving while intoxicated.

* Agency: Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.

* Incident: On Nov. 23, Mix was arrested after a complaint that he nearly struck a pedestrian, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office said.

* Pending action: Mix was released and ordered to return to Ulysses Town Court on Dec. 15.

Burglary reported from Cornell building

* Reported: Nov. 21.

* Time occurred: Between 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 20.

* Location: Computing and Communications Center, Cornell Campus.

* Agency: Cornell University Police.

* Incident: A staff member reported that about $5,500 in electronic equipment was stolen, the Cornell Police said.

* Suspect description: None.
