Office for the Aging holds public hearing, fair

The Tompkins County Office for the Aging will hold its annual Public Hearing and Senior Citizens' Fair Tuesday at Titus Towers, 800 S. Plain St. Older adults in Tompkins County are invited to join for this day of food, education and fun.


Registration and refreshments take place from 9:30-10 a.m. A public hearing on Office for the Aging's annual plan takes place from 10-10:45 a.m. This is an opportunity for the public to tell about critical issues affecting older adults.

Ongoing information sharing with community groups and agencies will take place in the Atrium all morning with free educational workshops from 11-11:45 a.m.

Lunch will be served by Foodnet from noon to 1 p.m., with voluntary contributions accepted.

Seating for the Senior Citizens' Fair is limited and reservations are required. Contact Danielle Conte at the Office for the Aging at 274-5490to make a reservation.
