Area residents will have two opportunities in November to attend a free program on how to save money on their energy bills.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County will offer the "Save Energy, Save Dollars" workshop from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, and again from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the CCE Education Center at 615 Willow Ave.
Each participating household will also receive a free kit of energy-saving items, including a CFL bulb, refrigerator thermometer, and more. Call 272-2292 to reserve a seat and an energy kit.
