Green Resource Hub will present its plans to officially launch the Sustainable Enterprise Network (SEN) from 6-8 p.m. Monday at La Tourelle Resort & Spa, 1150 Danby Road.
Over the past year, Green Resource Hub has been developing the concept of the SEN with an ongoing dialogue among local and regional members of the movement for sustainable living. What has emerged out of a series of events is an open source model of engagement for green enterprise, to orient to a triple bottom line and create value by doing so.
The Hub will demonstrate what has produced a greater vision of an organized social media platform that will transform and expand access in our marketplace. By making a community of those developing the green economy, the SEN can generate connections and new opportunities that are measurable resources to be utilized. Each service provided will be outlined as well as the outcomes of participation. While the complete vision is important to cover, the presentation will emphasize the strategy that will make the concept a reality. There will be a breakout session in which attendees will be encouraged to engage in open feedback about the concept and launch plans.
The Green Resource Hub is a non-profit organization and affiliate of Sustainable Tompkins that aims to expand the regional marketplace for sustainable living through business support services and consumer education on green building, energy efficiency, renewable energy and green purchasing.
The meeting will begin with an opportunity to network with area businesses owners while enjoying light refreshments. The event costs $5 to attend. To register, get directions, and for more information, go to http://greenresourcehub.org.
