A workshop on "Lead Paint - Testing, Safety Measures, and Removal Techniques" will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Significant Elements, 212 Center St., Ithaca. Mark Pierce, Cornell University Extension associate in housing, will cover testing methods for lead paint, personal protective equipment, a review of government regulations and lead-safe work practices for homeowners, contractors and landlords. Pierce also will present options for safely stripping paint from architectural elements.
