    The Ithaca Shakespeare Company will open its 2012 season on Tuesday, Valentine's Day, with an indoor production of "Twelfth Night." The production will run through Feb. 26 at Fall Creek Studios.

    Saulnier: Live on tape, 'Chronicle' is good, sci-fi fun

    The "found video" movie is a tricky thing. Sometimes it comes off smashingly, as in "Cloverfield"; sometimes it's a jerky, nauseating mess, like "The Blair Witch Project." The latest entry in the genre is "Chronicle," a sci-fi picture about three Seattle teenagers who happen upon an alien entity that gives them gonzo powers: telekinesis, near-invincibility, super strength, even the ability to fly.

    Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill are star in "Moneyball."  The film was nominated for an Oscar for best film. Pitt was also nominated for best actor and Hill was nominated for best supporting actor.     The five members of Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad have lived up to their band name in the more than 700 shows they've performed since the 2006 release of their debut album, "Slow Down." Their bass-heavy reggae grooves have earned the band a wide following, with appearances at a variety of festivals (including GrassRoots) around the country.
